About her
I'm honest, kind, thoughtful, empathetic and curious. I love my dog (always a rescue for me) and I'm a good friend.
I enjoy live music (mainly rock), dancing, reading, exercise classes, quizzes, the beach, snorkelling and being in the countryside. I'm interested in social history (particularly railways/Victorian stuff) & I've recently taken up art again (abstracts for me) although I don't often find/make the time for it.
I think curiosity, enthusiasm & keeping active are really important for me in trying to keep age at bay - it would be lovely to find somebody similar.
Holidays are important, particularly to find some winter sun (love the warmth of the sun, but not 30 degrees as I used to in my youth!). I’d also like to explore more of the UK on short breaks.

It would obviously be great to share a sense of humour as I love to have a laugh. I'm quite busy and independent and enjoy my own company some of the time, so it would be good to find someone similar in this respect. I'm probably best-described as an extroverted introvert!
I'm also looking for someone who has their own home and enjoys making it and their garden look good. Someone who enjoys cooking would be a bonus as I don't like it!
