At 60+ I am fortunate to still like my job. But at home my self worth is demoralised. But I can hold my head high, I know what I’m capable of, i know what I’m worth and ultimately, I am confident.
I just need someone that can see these qualities despite their own difficulties.
After work I like an hour or two in my workshop - it’s mentally soothing.
Hence, this is not an easy step for me. Just an online connection and occasional in person meetings would make me happy right now.
