The headline was chosen because I'm not on the socials, nor much of a texter. Music lover and a big fan of Radio 6. As well as Blondie!
Happily single for a long time. However, with a busy work and home life abating, suddenly I find myself wanting out of the single-ness. Would love to go on some dates and see where they may lead. I enjoy my job a lot and there is a link to what I studied at University - International Relations - although I don’t travel for work anymore. Good and fair relationship maintained with the ex and his wife. We share a child (teenage boy) who never stood a chance of playing one parent off against the other or being ‘caught in the middle’, unless he was the filling in a mum and dad ‘cuddle sandwich’. And he absolutely hates us for this and for not messing up his childhood. Am not quite empty nested but I am sure he would prefer to be.
Taken a hiatus from running and hiking due to injury but am on the road to recovery! Long distance coastal walks in all weather is a favourite. Have experience of high altitude and glacier hiking and fancy Ben Nevis in the summer. Anyone?

I live in South-East London and have a strong connection to the South Kent Coast. Like a lot of people, I enjoy podcasts particularly investigative journalism, music gigs (it has been quite the random selection recently including meeting Daryl Hall and some super sweary mad wives of another band), I can poetically recite Public Enemy rap songs and am a fan of jazz, theatre – cried with laughter at ‘Titanique’ and shed some tears at the Tina Turner show. Comedy nights out in Greenwich are fantastic. Love to dance and sing (badly) which offsets somewhat against a challenging job and occasional study for a Global role. Menopause is now fully calibrated. Oh, and I ‘don’t drink, don’t smoke’... so, what do I do…?!

So I think my ideal match would be someone who has lived an interesting life and has a lot to say, energetic, enthusiastic, smart, fun, emotionally strong, balanced, level headed and likes to take charge equally.
