I love my country with a passion but also love travel and exploring other countries and cultures. I love good food and wine, cooking, gardening (I'm a qualified garden designer), all rural activities, music, literature and political debate. Exercise (yoga and running) and health are important to me but don't rule my world. I have robust views and, it's probably fair to say, am occasionally unfiltered in expressing my opinions! I have lots I want to do and would love a strong partner with shared values and sense of humour to do them with.

I would like to meet someone who shares my love of the countryside, is proactive generally and probably in some way successful, is sociable and has a good sense of humour. I like people who are strong, independent, intelligent and who have a good knowledge of current affairs. Activities I would like to share include travel, food - of all sorts - both eating in and eating out, good conversation, film/music/theatre (although not a deal breaker) and any country pursuits. Someone with their own passions they want to share is a bonus.
